JAIME ST. PETER
Counsel
Jaime negotiates sensitive and thoughtful agreements and takes pride in her ability to generate innovative, forward-looking solutions that give her clients maximum flexibility.
Jaime devotes most of her practice to negotiating prenuptial, postnuptial, and modification agreements. Additionally, she represents clients in divorces, focusing on mediation consults and divorces that settle outside of court, taking a peaceful, collaborative approach to the unwinding of a marriage. Before joining Rower LLC, Jaime was an associate in the litigation & arbitration group at Milbank LLP, where she specialized in government investigations, shareholder litigations, and bankruptcy matters.
Jaime prides herself on her ability to understand and communicate with people from all walks of life. Her humanities background, along with her experience as a former stay-at-home parent and someone who has navigated divorce, gives her deep insight into the complex emotional and practical realities her clients face. While empathy is central to her approach, she remains unwaveringly committed to protecting her clients’ best interests at every step of negotiations.
A musician and supporter of the arts, Jaime studies voice and is a proud alto in the Plymouth Church choir. She spends much of her time exploring Brooklyn’s vibrant music scene and is involved in fundraising efforts for local arts, political, and education organizations. She loves to bike, run, and read and is on a slow march to a graduate certificate at Union Theological Seminary. Jaime resides in Brooklyn with her two children and their beloved Australian Shepherd, Pip.
