Leslie has advocated for clients in the courtroom the entirety of her legal career. With over twenty years of combined experience in the legal and non-profit industries and a passion for helping others, Leslie is especially equipped to help Rower LLC’s clients through the divorce process. She is not afraid to go to court to fight for her clients and is trained as a mediator and parenting coordinator to guide clients through a more collaborative process when it’s right for them.  

Leslie is skilled at organizing and managing cases and advancing clients’ goals with thoughtfulness, compassion, and a particular understanding of the financial issues many divorcing couples face. Staying true to her southern roots, she remains dignified, even in the midst of fiercely passionate arguments and negotiations.

Leslie began her career at a financial institution managing corporate clients. Following law school, Leslie was a civil defense trial lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia, handling all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution. She gained valuable experience arguing motions before trial and appellate courts and successfully serving as lead counsel in both bench and jury trials. Leslie demonstrates an innate ability to strategically plan and develop cases with the client’s end-goal in mind. While Leslie has significant courtroom experience, she also advocates for alternative dispute resolution when the client’s needs will be better met in that forum.

Admitted to the bar in both New York and Georgia, Leslie serves as the First District Representative on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. 

Leslie grew up in Georgia but now makes Manhattan her home. A recent empty nester, she spends most weekends in Central Park. She also enjoys attending live theater, particularly Broadway. She continues her passion of helping others through serving various organizations in New York.
